James has over a 15 years of experience in architecture and interior design and has drawn his inspiration from an unusual childhood of sailing around the globe with his family. Growing up in over fifty different countries honed his eye and stimulated his taste for a style ranging from neo-classical to ultra minimalism. He is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, received training in painting and sculpture from the Ecole de Beaux-Arts in Paris, and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Architecture in Copenhagen.
James is a young voice in the design world in Miami and has worked hard to make a consistent style that does not become a ubiquitious white box, but one that is in response to clean materials and the vernacular living particular to Miami and simultaneously he employs a rich and evocative interior program in all his designs.
